2014 Bobcat S850 Skid Steer Loader

The S850 is Bobcat’s largest skid-steer loader in its lineup. The new loader is packed with power and performance and with a 12 ft lift height, it is the highest lifting skid-steer loader offered by Bobcat Company. With increased uptime, the S850 is designed to work long hours and more efficiently on tough terrain and jobsites, allowing the operator to spend minimal time on routine maintenance. The new design features a unique cab-forward style that gives the operator a clear view of the attachment and provides visibility in all directions while working. With the 10 percent increase in cab size, operators will be able to work in comfort. Noise levels are reduced by 60 percent due to new engine mounts that decreases vibration and noise levels. New job-enhancing features have been added to the optional Deluxe Instrumentation Panel. The new panel intelligently monitors key loader functions, display and monitor certain attachment functions and the keyless start helps prevent theft.

  • 12-Volt Power Accessory: Your cab is your office. That’s why Bobcat installed a 12-volt power accessory for charging your mobile phone, MP3 player or other accessories.
  • Air-Ride Seats: Achieve optimum suspension comfort with the optional air-ride seat. Air suspension adjusts to your weight, helping you smooth out the bumps on your jobsite and increasing your comfort.
  • Attachment Control Device: In simplest terms, the optional Attachment Control Device makes it possible for the loader and attachment to communicate.
  • Bob-Tach™: Change attachments in less than a minute! You can replace a bucket with a pallet fork, landscape rake, auger, grapple, and more than 55 Bobcat loader attachments quickly and easily with the Bob-TachBob-Tach™ mounting system.
  • Battery Run-Down Protection: The lighting circuit automatically shuts down to prevent accidental battery discharge.
  • Dual Path Cooling: The loader draws in a majority of cool, clean air from above through the oil cooler and radiator, while small amounts of hot air are drawn out of the engine compartment. The combination is then exhausted out two side vents, keeping hot air away from the operator, providing more efficient cooling and keeping engine components clean.
  • Increased Cooling Capacity with Easier Cleaning: The re-engineered cooling system gives you more efficient, higher-capacity cooling for better performance and longer machine life. Additionally, the swing-up cleaning access feature makes removing dust and debris easy and ensures peak performance from your cooling system.
  • Protected Tailgate: The one piece ¼” inch thick door is solid steel. There are no cooling holes, slots, or other openings on the heavy-duty door that could potentially lead to extra time in the shop.
